Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association’s (MCHA) Finance Committee will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.  The meeting will take place at MCHA’s executive office, 5775 Wayzata Blvd., Suite 910, St. Louis Park, MN.

Nominating Committee

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association’s (MCHA) Nominating Committee will be conducted by teleconference at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. The call will be initiated at the MCHA Executive Office, 5775 Wayzata Blvd., Suite 910, St. Louis Park, MN. If anyone wishes to monitor the meeting by phone, they should contact MCHA’s office (952-593-9609) for additional information.

Enrollee Appeals Committee

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Minnesota Comprehensive Health  Association’s (MCHA) Enrollee Appeals Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m at MCHA Executive office, 5775 Wayzata Blvd., Suite 910, St. Louis Park, MN.

As of January 1, 2014, insurance companies can no longer deny you or charge more because of your pre-existing condition. As a result, the need for the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association (MCHA) will eventually go away.

 

You can still apply for coverage through MCHA, but we encourage you to look for health insurance coverage on MNsure, Minnesota's new online insurance marketplace, which opens for enrollment on October 1st.
